The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announced a new initiative last December to help communities across the country advance transit-oriented development (TOD) projects. The TOD Technical Assistance Initiative provides on-the-ground and online technical assistance to communities planning and working on TOD projects.
Recently the FTA launched a new website, TODresources.org. The new site includes a dynamic database of leading research on TOD, information about funding and financing options for TOD projects, and opportunities for TOD professionals to connect with one another. To learn more, click Fast Lane Blog.
