In order to complete the work, daily lane and shoulder closures will take place at the following locations:

  • U.S. 12 in Deer Park
  • U.S. 12 in Lake Zurich
  • Illinois 176 in Wauconda

The sidewalk improvement project will begin in Deerfield and end in Harvard. The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2016.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
